OSCILLATING BELLHOLE HYDROKLEANER MODEL BHKO 4056

The Oscillating Bellhole HydroKleaner is CRC-Evans’ newest bellhole coating removal system, accommodating pipe diameters from 40-56 inches (1020-1440 mm) in a single pass.

The system is based on our proven and reliable Oscillating Abrasive Blast equipment. By using the same primary mechanisms for both units, operator training time is reduced as well as the number of spare parts required.

The BHKO provides superior coating removal performance compared to two-pass methods. It uses three high-speed rotary water jet swivels mounted at a fixed standoff from the pipe.

The three swivels are each oscillated through 120°, providing for full 360° cleaning. Controllable oscillation and travel speeds assure uniform pipe cleaning in minimum time. The end result is clean pipe, ready for visual and NDE inspection.

The unit is designed for light weight, minimal under-pipe clearance and easy pipe mounting. An electric drive provides forward/reverse travel at variable speed. All operations are remotely controlled by a single operator working out of the ditch.

BHKO HydroKleaners include a lower shroud to help contain the blast water and removed coating. This allows water and debris to fall harmlessly to the bottom of the trench. The shield is easily removed for pipe mounting.
